Lamp Posts - St Samsons Square

Postby sammies » Tue Oct 29, 2013 8:44 am

Hi,

A majority of the lamp posts in one section of the Square are no longer working and it is naturally extremely dark in this area @ night time.

Does anybody know if this is been looked at?

Tks

Hi Sammies.

The day after it wasn't working anymore, I reported it to the management company as the electrical contractor who's been replacing the bulbs said it was an issue beyond his control and it had to be dealt with by ESB. Tony's logged this with ESB but I noticed it's still out. I will ask him to ping them again. Give ESB a ring to report it as it's most likely a fuse

UPDATE:

This is still being looked at by the management company. Tony (the agent) contacted ESB on the electrical contractor's request (he's the one who looks after the individual lamp posts only). ESB said that this is a matter with Fingal co. council because it's a private estate. Fingal coco told him it's a matter with ESB.

The electrical contractor can not fix it because the ESB panel requires special keys to access it and it can only be accessed by an ESB technician. Tony's still chasing them.

UPDATE:

Tony (KPM agent) finally got to speak to an ESB operations manager and assured him this would be looked at today.
