Possible Leak

Postby Shee » Fri Sep 02, 2011 7:57 pm

Throughout the night, I could hear water pouring down outside but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. This morning I noticed that there was water still pouring down from a small pipe that is located on the wall below the gutters in one of the duplexes in St Samsons Court - not sure of the house number but its possibly between 46-56. There is a lot of staining on the window/window sill of the property below. Any idea what would cause this ??

I'm not sure if the property is occupied, that's another worry.

SHee - was there any solution to the leak problem you raised in September?

No there was no reply's or private messages regarding this. The wall is stained where the water was leaking but haven't seen a leak since then. Hopefully all sorted

It could be coming from the overflow tank. There's a valve in the hotpress to raise the pressure and it should be around 2 to 2.5 bars but the valve should be stopped. If left open, it would overflow the tank and it would spill outside. Not a plumber but someone qualified would confirm this.
