Household Charge

Postby fasteddie » Tue Jan 03, 2012 4:56 pm

Anyone know do we have to pay this seen as we live in an unfinished estate and have been the poster estate for Ghost estates over the last few years?
Says on the site people living in unfinished estates are entitled to a waiver?

Have checked with Terence Flanagan. We are liable. Belmayne is NOT a ghost estate!

I know its not a ghost estate but people call it a ghost estate when it suits.
I find it unfair next year when they bring in the proper property tax that we should pay the same as people in older estates. Its been reported the property tax for 2013 could be between 188-800euro depending on the value of your home. Gonna be a lot of top of management fees

yes i have to strongly agree as we are an unfinished estate surely were not liable and as has been said allready we've been the poster child of ghost estate for yrs and on a side note who owns what at the moment and who's responsible for what like dublin city council runs some things the lights etc... kpm does most things and the builder barely does there bit just about when pushed into it! so this proposed mud bill what exactly has it done for us it's been in law since october and where's our egm we were supposed to in 2011 and our 2011 agm???? is anybody else think somethings going on with kpm and the builder to stop us from taking control????

The wheels are in motion for vesting to the OMC so I would say no. It's going to take a long time.

Was there an AGM in 2011? If so, when was it and where was my invite?
What is the legal definition of a ghost estate anyway?
