Re: Black and White Cat gone missing.
Shirley, I think I may have seen this cat. In the basketball court area yesterday. If I see her again I will try and coax her in and or call you On another note we have been "adopted" by a young black and white wild cat, who has taken up residence in our dogs house, although he ( the dog) ...

Re: Water Problems tonight 22/10 ?
Hi ggma0, You are right there, probably did just need to be serviced. When you think about it they do a lot of work particularly when it is a negative one as ours is. Three bathrooms, kitchen appliances on 2 times a day most days. I am only glad it cost me 170 euro as opposed to 1000, that would hav...

Re: Water Problems tonight 22/10 ?
Just an update if any one interested. It was our water pump that died. So no water for toilets, heating and appliances. Called in a local plumber and he tapped around etc etc, then told me it would cost 800-1000 yoyo to replace. He fixed it very temporarily, in fact he probably hadn't even shut the ...

Water Problems tonight 22/10 ?
Hi, our water pump is acting up tonight and we have no water other than from the mains. Just wondering is it just us or is any one else having an issue. We are in a house with apartment over us.
Worst case scenario, has any one got a number for a plumber in the locale.
Thanks.

Re: Keenan Management Company and Hi!
You're probably right Nell but that just seems to be the nature of this particular beast. By and large I would imagine most people are getting on with their busy lives not finding a lot of time to post on the forum unless there is an issue of some description. Then it gets thrashed out for a while a...

Re: Keenan Management Company and Hi!
Wow indeed! I too frequent the playground on occasion with a two year old and find it grand also. Unfortunately the brats I am referring to are not interested in the playground instead preferring on occasion to mess at peoples cars and property. Otherwise my post was positive. Like I said, its not f...

Re: Electricity being switched off
There was a time when I was horrified at such articles appearing in the media particularly when accompanied by "those photos". Now I don't give a hoot. I am so sick of it all at this stage. If as suggested the apartments affected are social housing I would assume fees are included in their...

Re: Keenan Management Company and Hi!
Personally I think the location is second to none and our house is perfect for now. I certainly do not feel unsafe in the developement and have never had any reason to. Any neighbours I have met are pleasant although I have not got to know anyone, only to say hello. My main gripes would have to be t...

Re: Fire safety in Belmayne
Just thinking out loud here so to speak, but if the cover is 20k that is an incredible figure. What about those of us in the concrete built units (SH), will we also be hit for these increased insurance charges? Or is there a seperate insurance in place? It certainly is not fair on any owner, SH or L...

Re: Fire safety in Belmayne
Not really sure whats going on either to be honest, but aren't NAMA footing the bill for all unsold units including rentals? Any private homes are being looked after by the Developers. Is this where the confusion is coming in?

Re: Fire Safety
I certainly hope that proves to be the case Nell. I was merely alluding to the article stating one developer suggesting another is in the same boat. At the end of the day, the residents affected in Belmayne were also re-assured all was well and look at them now. I do not know what type of unit you a...

Re: Fire safety in Belmayne
I still think we need to trust someone to get us out of this mess and my money is actually on the developers as they seem to want to be practical so far and are in a better position to fix this than any politician or media contact. Also they may be the only people that can afford to help. belwoman,...

Re: Fire safety in Belmayne
I do see your point ddub and I would agree the estate needs to be maintained. You also make a good point in relation to communication or lack of same to be more precise between kpm and the affected residents, in particular at this time. By the looks of things this would appear to be about to escalat...
