Have your say? Clongriffin – Belmayne (North Fringe)

Post by caver » Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:39 pm

The information below should interest everyone living in the area. If you have any ideas on how we can improve things, now is the time to voice your opinions. We all have a obligation to improve the local area. It could be a padestrianised route to the coast along the Mayne river, a library... or even a temporary allotment scheme in the many vacant wastelands... use your voice and take some time out of your busy day to have your say.

Dublin City Council intends to prepare a Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) for the Clongriffin-Belmayne (North Fringe) area in Dublin 13. An important step in making a draft LAP is to identify the issues for the local area. An Issues Paper has been prepared to assist submissions or observations. The public are invited to make a submission on the issues that are important from their point of view for the local area and what the Draft Local Area Plan should address.

A series of public consultation sessions have also been organised in the local area to coincide with the observation period. These are:

Wednesday 13th April 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm Unit 60 Main Street, Clongriffin, Dublin 13
Saturday 16th April 10.00 am to 1.00 pm Unit 60 Main Street, Clongriffin, Dublin 13
Tuesday 10th May 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm Unit 60 Main Street, Clongriffin, Dublin 13
Saturday 14th May 10.00 am to 1 pm Dublin City Council Library, Donaghmede Shopping Centre

Submissions can be made to Dublin City Council and should be addressed to: Tom Vaughan, Planning and Economic Development Department, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, or by email to localareaplan@dublincity.ie before 4.30pm on Wednesday 25th May 2011. Submissions should state your name, address, and where relevant, the body represented. All submissions and observations received within the above time limit will be taken into consideration during the preparation of the Draft Local Area Plan.
