Wireless network

Postby Izzy » Mon Nov 12, 2007 10:29 pm

Markos,

you just need a wireless router plugged in your network. A modem router is not necessary do that internet comes from the same network than the TV (at least with Magnet)

The configuration is pretty simple (most of the time is already pre-configured). Once the network is plugged into the router, the router recognises it and a network address is assigned.

To configure the wireless network, activate WAP or WAP2 option in the router. With one of these options the wireless communication from the router to the PC is encrypted and not accessible from other PCs.

The most common way to configure them is to use a phraseword or password. The same password will be asked the first time that a PC connects to the network.

I hope that this helps. Let me know how you are getting on.
