Low water pressure and water issues recently

Postby Cbuc » Sun Jul 24, 2011 7:16 pm

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with their taps and showers?

A few days ago we could not get any water if we put the taps onto hot, then the next day cold water would not come out and nowwe cant use the shower on thetop floor but it works on the middle floor. Just seems to have happened out of the blue

My water went yesterday too and presure was very bad on Sat. Rang Dublin City Council, they didn't know anything about it, said they'd log a call as might be burst pipe in area. Came back yesterday evening but presure wasn't great and this morning seems to be fine, back to normal thank god.

Just got home and water is gone again, rang DCC they said they can't do anything until tomorrow morning. Can't see anything on their web site about it going and will be back at 6pm either. Belwomen where did you hear that it would be back at 6pm?
I reported it on Sunday to DCC but still nothings been done. If we had warning we could have been prepared. :x

Fingers crossed it comes back this evening.

Rang DCC and they are telling people that the issue is to do with the estate and so is not their problem. Rang the managment co who said they have been told by DCC that the problem is DEFINITELY a DCC issue and they were contacting the DCC engineer to get it sorted out. The girl in KPM hoped to know more by 8ish??????? Hope its back on soon!

Hi,
I called DCC earlier (round 3) and they said it was their issue and they were working on it..It was on their phone message but I stayed on to get an update. Its affecting all of Belmayne not just apartments... although those of us in houses will still have some water in our tanks for now. Call KPM as soon as its back on and they will send someone round to reset the pumps.

Thanks for all the updates. Our pressure has been bad all week but the water is totally gone now this evening :x :x

Maybe we should all bombard DCC and then they might do something about it!
