magnet telephone + sky box =?

Post by Brian L. » Fri May 18, 2007 11:21 am

Hi,

if i understand the magnet tech. support correctly the magnet telephone connection needs to be activated specifically to one port, and broadband and telvision come through the others anyway.

so if i want to use the telephone port for both a telephone and a sky box i will need a "splitter" is that all there is to it? what is the "blue box" lenny was talking about?

I'v either got it or I am confusticated !!!!

Sky and Magnet

Your sky box will connect onto a Magnet ATA (Analog telephone adapter) AKA the blue box and this will connect to an ethernet port.

I believe only one port is activated for the phone but I'm not sure if this is true

In order to use both the phone and the sky box onto the blue box, you'd need a telephone adapter to allow both sky+ and the phone to be plugged together

Hope that doesn't confusticate too much
