Re: 3 & 4 Bed Houses From 310,000

I hear you Dove! Little scary but sure what can we do! Hopefully if they do get sales they will finish off the rest so that people can actually walk down the road without their car falling into potholes! Had a drive down the last road the other night and my heart goes out to people living there. I j...

Re: Mangement fees

Does anybody know if there is an active residents committee set up for Belmayne? I would assume that the builder is footing some if not all of the bill for the security as it was never something that we were told about or discussed when buying. They did jsut seem to appear.... Security should not be...

Re: Management Fees

We haven't been billed since we moved in June 07.. This happened to us in a previous apartment and we were expected to pay the two years then so hopefully it doesn't happen here! I think the builder is still responsible for a lot at teh moment but we need to check on the costs we are being given. Da...

While I understand the stress that everyone is under I am sure that the estate agents whether they be HOK or Hooke & McDonald were told that parking was not going to be a problem. they can only tell you the information that they are given, yes they could be more helpful at times but I do feel it...

I can't believe someone would be so brazen! There are always people walking about, we walked home from a friends house around 10pm but didn't see anything suspicious. Nightmare having to get the window fixed though! I think everyone keeping an eye out and making a point of checking out suspicious pe...

Apparently there is a care taker called Gerry who is very good, have you asked him if he saw your bin? Still no sign of ours unfortunately!

There seems to be a bit of activity around, every morning this week there have been cars in the marketing suite and a few builders around so hopefully they are telling the truth and trying to get things sorted!

you should be able to do a deal with the developers as the bank will only value it at what they feel is right as they don't want to be taking unnecessary risks. I would imagine that rather than losing sales the developer will accpet a lower price but it is something that should be dealt with through...

Popasmurf, I did hear of someone paying less because their valuer only put the current value on it so not sur if that is happening across the board or not. I imagine that the builders need to close them, the only problem being that they more than likely paid a really high price for the site so they ...

I don't see it as a scam and doubt that the builder went into this intending to leave the development unfinished. Unfortunately for them they have had to lay off people and stop work until they can afford to begin again. I doubt the developers want all those units sitting empty and although it's hor...
