Re: Dangerous Dog

I saw him, he was around the corner from the chipper, he blocked my path but his owner (small boy) dragged him out of my way, first time I've been nervous passing a dog!! That kid wouldn't have a chance if he decided he wanted a bit of 'fun'!! Not a muzzle in sight.

Re: Electricity being switched off

All seems to be sorted now. Social housing weren't affected, just our block by the looks of it. I'm paying maintenance fees every month because I can't afford to pay them in full, no surprise there as you know. Just glad we have lights now and can actually see where the steps to the stairs are!! Tha...

Re: Electricity being switched off

Hi Alan I'm in P7 aswell but we seem to be the only block that has been switched off. I'm after hearing from my neighbour that we can expect the lights to be switched back on this evening due to a journalist putting pressure on the mgt company! So will be interesting to see when I get home later on....

Re: Electricity being switched off

I have the fire chief and Dublin City Council involved now so we'll see what happens, just find it very frighening walking up three flights of stairs in the dark and it is definitely a fire hazard, the emergency lights haven't even come on! Have a torch in my bag for when I come home in the evening!...

Electricity being switched off

Hi there Has anyone had their electricity switched off in their building? We've been without it since last week and because of it the key pad to get into our building from outside isn't working which means we have to go through the underground car park and access the building that way. Feel very anx...

Re: Fire safety in Belmayne

I'm also in an apartment in P7 (Churchwell Rise) which is around the corner from the chipper and I got a letter to say that my apartment would be checked, that was a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything since so to be honest I'm now a little confused!!

New View

I was wondering if the forum has changed as I can't seem to see new topics that, I'm assuming, are being posted?

Tks

Re: Pedestrian Crossing!

Yeaahhh, saw that myself this morning. And I received a letter from Terence Flanagan this morning asking for an update on this so I assume he put pressure on them aswell.

No more muck being walked into my apartment :D

Re: Kittens for rehoming.

Hi Draven4 Just wondering if you've tried ringing the DSPCA or another animal rescue group in Drogheda for their advice. I know DAR (Drogheda Animal Rescue) have experience with nervous kittens/cats so they might be able to help in some way. My parents adopted a one year old before Christmas and it ...

Re: Pedestrian Crossing!

Hi Biffy I'll write to the local politicians aswell, hate waiting for a gap in the traffic before I can cross and it's such a busy road aswell it's definitely not safe at the moment. I'm going to suggest they put a footpath in aswell from where the 128 drops people off down to the Belmayne entrance ...
