North fringe local area plan - yr comments needed

The Members of Dublin City Council, having considered the Draft Local Area Plan for Clongriffin-Belmayne (North Fringe), have recommended that the Draft Local Area Plan be altered. The proposed alteration would, if made, be a material alteration of the Draft Local Area Plan. Within the Draft LAP doc...

Re: Kids urinating around the estate

You could contact DCC housing or what ever body owns the housing the 4 families are in to report the anti-social behaviour. There are rules to tenancy..and they need to log reports of bad behaviour. Your details will be confidential. Not sure if mgt co/developers will be that concerned as they are g...

Re: Illegal Dumping/Laneway beside creche

Well in my experience KPm have not been doing a great job of catching people dumping. Someone has been dumping single bagged rubbish for at least 5 months on the ground in the apartment bin area. they are constantly beeing ripped apart by animals and contents are strewn all over the place. These peo...

My boiler light is on and the newlec centaur plus NLC21 digital display is working but it won't turn boiler on for hot water or central heating(the clicking sound has stopped working). Anybody else had problems with the newlec unit and what would they recommend as a replacement?. Have been told I ne...

Re: Home insurance

If you have a house your management fees do not cover building insurance unlike apartments and duplex owners. I had no problem getting home insurance which I purchased on Friday as my policy is up on Sunday.

Insurance for re-building

Anyone have any idea of rebuild for homes here? My insurance is will be up on 3 bed 1 storey. Scsi.ie for 2011 mention €162 per sq foot plus add fittings on top of this. I see on Boards someone mentions €152 per sq foot. Thanks

Re: Bad Smell In Downstairs Toilets & Drain keeps blocking

Hi Kaz,

Ring KPM the management company about this. I had same problem last year and the communal drains were blocked because people were flushing baby wipes. Those wipes don't dissolve like loo paper and should be put in a bin.

I meant to say that one of the giant planters has been moved forward thus enabling vehicles to access from hole-in-the- wall road.

Barriers damaged on road leading to schools

I noticed today that the barriers have been badly damaged. One has been wedged into the path on the sales office side, making this path pram unfriendly and the other barrier is stuck on the grass across the road. There is quite a bit of glass on the road suggesting they may have been crashed into. T...
